Steam avatars not showing up in-game (Solved)

Issue:

Steam avatars are not showing up in-game, or very inconsistently. They are showing up in friends list though, I link pictures below. I can't see my own avatar nor anyone elses, but my friends can see them fine so the problem is on my end.

I have completely reinstalled Steam but that didn't fix the issue.

Anyone had similar problem before or suggestion how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I have solved the issue:

For some reason my Freedome VPN application was causing the issue. I've been using that VPN for over two years now without any problems, but for some reason it started to cause this issue. When I closed the program, all the Steam avatars started appearing normally.

Same, its blank when im playing csgo but i can see my new avatar when looking at my profile. Earlier today it wouldnt even let me switch avatar.
