Hey steam, I know my laptop is on, you dont have to tell me every 20 seconds
I got a new laptop & made the mistake of installing steam on it. Now the steam on my desktop feels like it has to notify me every 20-30 seconds that my laptop is online & ready for streaming or whatever.

Ive turned off all notifications in steam and in windows, but still i get this damn notification in the lower right corner telling me that my laptop is ready or not ready for streaming. I dont even know what that means, do people often stream their laptop? Why would i want to do that? Really i just wanted to install a couple of my favorite low-horsepower games on it.

So, do i need to turn off this streaming thing then? Where is that setting?

Top left corner.

Steam>Settings>Remote Play>Untick "Enable Remote Play" at the top.

And while you're in there also unlink all devices.
