Help, bought a game twice.
Yesterday I wanted to buy Deep Rock Galactic.

When I paid the game the money got removed from my bank account and I did not get the game. I know that this can take some time so I just waited. After 2.5 hours I got an email that there was an error and that steam did not accept my money. So I bought it again and it worked. So now I have the game but after a couple minutes I got another email that my first (failed) purchase was still accepted. So now I have Deep Rock Galactic on my account but paid for it twice.

If I look in my purchase history by the game I can clearly see that both the purchases are accepted but they said that they did not accept my first purchase.

Please help me what to do. I can not refund it bc got more than 2 hours (already tried).

This happened to me as well but with a different game which i have played for less than 2 hours. I have seen other people having the same issue.

You mean you tried explaining your situation to support or you submitted a generic refund request?

I made a refund request whit the option that I bought the game 2 times. but still got refused bc I got to many hours. i did not explain it to support just the refun req. Where can I explaine it?

Choose "I still have a question..."

Explain the entire issue carefully.

Click the game you have problems with, and you will go to a page with several options.

One of them is "I was charged twice for my purchase", so I think you should start with that.

If that isn't getting you anywhere, there is another option "I have further questions about my purchase" that will let you explain your problem.

If the above suggestions fail, you can always contact your bank and request a chargeback.

The account will be lock for fraud and the payment method will be banned from use on Steam forever.

The answer hasn't changed in two years.
There still is no email address.
