Help with VPN exclusions

Hello everyone,

Since I do not want to break the Steam rules, I have added all of Steam's .exe files to an exclusions list for my ExpressVPN application. This was done via Split Tunneling.
It worked for a while - noticable by the fact that 'remember me' actually worked on Steam and I did not have to authorize myself every single time - but after a few updates on Steam it no longer works. I now have to login every time again, despite having ticked the 'remember me' option, which indicates that I'm back to square one.

I have removed all of the .exes from the list and re-added them, but no luck. Does anyone know how I can make Steam be excluded from VPN permanently?

Contact Express VPN. The VPN software might not have updated to cause the issue but maybe its not working because it needs updating to work with new Steam client. Their support staff do live chats and helped me out with IP leakage which was solved using an older Expressvpn version while they investigated my issue to fix it in future updates. Even if they cant fix it for you. If they know about your issue they can pass that information to development team to find a fix.....

I contacted them once already and they indeed said they would look into it and get back to me, but they never have. That is the reason I came here, unfortunately. I can try again but I don't think that would help much.
