It could be... I've not used Big Picture myself so I can't say for sure. It could still be an issue with scaling, but again maybe not. Are you running the game in a resolution that is different from your monitor's native resolution? That could be interfering somehow with your second monitor thinking it should be in the resolution that the game is in. It could also be that you might just have to fidget with the settings on the monitor itself through the options menu with the buttons. I used to have a monitor that would make my screen blurry outside of a game if I was running that game at a resolution lower than my native one. But in my case my monitor had an Auto Adjust button that would fix scaling for me.
