Xbox controller disconnects after any cinematic/cutscene

Cutscenes, "cinematic" attacks like say rage arts in Tekken 7 or "X-Ray" moves in Mortal Kombat X, things like those just cause my contoller to lock up and stop working until i unplug it and plug it back in. Any advice?

How long is cutscene? It has timer to disconnect controller if you are using it wireless cause it saves your battery while you are idling. take it as afk timer in games.

I'm having the same issue but with Yakuza 0 after every cutscene no matter how short the controller disconnects. Even that I already disabled the controller shutdown in the steam settings.

Exactly. Anything that activates any sort of "cinematic" event. It's not caused by the controller idling.
