I think I've been hacked?

So yesterday while playing Rust I checked battlemetrics and clicked on my name to see that where it shows current servers being played, there was a long list that I was "playing" altho I was not on any of them. I clicked other names to see if theres showed the same, but there name only showed the one server we were in together. Has anyone else seen this happen and what can I do to fix this?

Keep in mind that geolocation is not exactly accurate.

Yes, when I just checked there was a login from Georgia this morning, I live in Va.

To secure your account do the following


Scan for Malware/virus https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/
Deauthorize all devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
Change your Account password on a secure device, mobile phone for example.
Generate new back up codes https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

I'd at least do the Apikey and password now if you can.

The longer it takes the more chance they have to cheat on games you own. Any bans that may be applied won't be removed as account security is owners responsibility.

I just changed passwords from my phone, what is the api key? I clicked the link and asked me to provide a domain name? Sorry I am somewhat new to steam I built my pc a year ago

If there is nothing to revoke, there is nothing you need to do. You don't apply for an API key unless you know what it is for and know you need one.

So I changed passwords and deauthorized any other users but when I check battlemetrics, the random servers are still online atm..... altho when I look at steam it doesnt show those games being/ever been played (teamfortress2 are 99% of the servers showing on my battlemetrics)

Will it take awhile for it to kick them off the account or is something else happening?

Serverlist in steam? That is rather a general server browser

The server list I'm talking about is where it shows recent activity on your steam profile page and I see the games that I've personally played but dont see the games listed on the battlemetrics server (team fortress 2), altho it says I'm still in those servers at the moment according to BM.

Battlemetrics still showing me as an active player on multiple servers even after password change and deauthorizing all accounts, any advice?

No its my account for sure, it also shows more logins from different states in my history after changing password and deauthorizing, I sent an email to steam support as well to see if they could help some how.

Logins as recent as 11:48 from different states although I reset password and deauthorized devices at 10:00
