Change amount of Steam wallet used in a purchase?
Is it possible to change the amount or how much of my steam wallet is used for a purchase? I have a game where Steam wants to use all of my Steam wallet + a few dollars from a credit card. Can I change it to use half of Steam wallet instead of the full amount?

Convenience. OP might be holding onto specific change for smaller transactions (i.e. market). He would rather pay up the specific price of something without using the Steam account’s deposit so that he doesn’t have to add another five bucks to the account.
Then OP can simply buy those items off the market first and whatever wallet funds remain can be used for purchasing the game.

I don't think there is any way you can.

Only other thing you can do is not use the wallet though by pressing the back button at that screen in the purchase process and select which purchase method you want.

There no split option, it's either use the Steam wallet, or don't.

What you can do is use the Steam wallet, and pay the remaining if there is, then just add back the wallet funds using custom method, which you can only do this by using the browser, there a guide you can look up how to let custom amount you want to add to your Steam wallet.

Thinking of doing it that way. Buy some cheaper games using the Steam wallet funds first then dearer game with remaining wallet + funds..

My Steam wallet is a gift voucher and I'd like to split it among games rather than all on one game.

You'll still spend the same amount using your credit card in the end...
Does this works if i want to make it lower than 5 dollars?
