Lunar new Year Animated Mini-profile backgrounds
I've been looking at those new Mini-Profile backgrounds, and they look kinda cool IMO. The thing is, it says "available for use 'til 27 March, 2020". Which I found odd. Does that mean you spend 700 of these coins to buy something temporary for your account?
Which of course could be, but the same quote can be found at the profile backgrounds, which normally stay indefinitely.

Am I missing something? Or are these animated mini-profile backgrounds really temporary?

They are temporary. After the date passes they won't work anymore. The item remains in your inventory though.
