Digital gift cards don't count. How have you added that money? Was it really 5 USD or some other amount in some other currency?

Did you do the math for 5 USD straight or did you go a bit above? And is that "online game code" a Steam wallet code or something else?

If by online game code you mean that you bought game keys from other retailers and added those games to your Steam account: That does not unlimit your account.

You need to add $5 directly to steam. No keys, no digital gift cards.

Steam wallet cards count.

Physical cards do. Not digital.

aha i got it now , so in contrast i do need to buy games that cost 5 usd to unlimit my acc right? since the "code " doesnt count?

No. If that code doesn't count, why should games bought with that code count? It's like that "creative" math I've seen, adding 5$ and buying a game with that 5$ being equal to 10$ spent... You gotta admit, that's obviously false.

Or you need to add money to your account from your bank account or by buying a physical Steam gift card. The key is that you need to spend 'real' money directly on Steam.
