Same Game, Same computer, different accounts
Hi Guys, i have been playing witcher 3 (the regular, without DLC’s edition) on my Uncle’s account.

I have my own account (this one), and i want to buy Witcher 3 GOTY edition, to play it on my own account, and to have all DLCs.

If i buy it, will my computer synchronize the saves to my account, or will i have to start it all over again? The laptop will be the same. So just the version of the game, and the account on which i will play will change.

You should be able to copy all the saves over

And how exactly? :)

Saves are shared with the user account. If you play it on your own Steam but same user account, you'll share saves as well. No further efforts needed. I would recommend getting your saves into your Steam cloud and getting a separate user account afterwards.

sounds like save games are in documant, that mean get a free cloud app, that mark the current save game folder, and share its content ot other user that login later. and restore its content there. that is the simplest solution and is automated in itself,
only problem is slot save game they overwrite so you most know what you are doing.
and you cant have both playing same game with diffrent saves.
