MP4 to GIF? (Anyone here know how to use ffmpeg?)

I have short MP4 clips and want to convert them into GIF. However, since I don't have internet, the usual online converters aren't an option. I've been looking for a way to convert these and literally nobody had an answer for me.

At some point I found a side note that "ffmpeg" can do such conversions, so I downloaded it in school and now have it here.

Problem is, it's just a command console and doesn't have a user interface, and I have zero idea how to work with this.

Does anyone have the slightest idea how to use this, or even better, an alternative I can use without requiring a masters degree in engineering?
