Error upon creating a new account, please help!

Hello, i have been trying for over an hour to create a new account for my brother, sice csgo is free, and whenever i try to create a new account, i get the error: "There was a problem creating your Steam account, please try again later."

PLEASE HELP

What is this error?

How can i avoid it?

People cannot help you if they don't know the solution. I am sure if someone who has actually had the issue and solved it comes along they will post.

Try a browser or client. Don't copy and paste your password into the box, it doesn't usually register when people do that (least it didn't for me). Reboot the machine before doing any of this first.

Yeah i know, but it annoys me when someone is in need of help and some random person just comes here and posts just to annoy people

Do you have an alternative device lying around? Phone, tablet or something else.

Yep, i do, and i've tried it on my other 2 laptops and my phone. None worked.. :/

To be honest, I'm not much help to you from this point. I hope someone else on here is able to sort this for you. You're welcome.

Nobody is gonna be able to help me, as far as i've seen, i've googled my problem, but nothing literally comes up, just a simillar error but not the same, and i've tried the fix for that similar error, nothing is working..

One thing I can suggest.

Upload a screenshot of the error, so we can see the error for ourselves. Since you tried other devices, it's either a server problem or something in your internet or router settings which can possibly block Steam registering accounts. That last bit may not be the case, I know, but it can happen.

I've been trying for over 2 hours...
