Is there a way to remove time spent playing games on steam? + Can you hive your game purchase date from your library?
I want to remove all the hours played in my account and I don't know if that's it's possible to remove the history of hours played on a game. also I want to hide the date I bought my games from the library. Is this possible?

Why. Steam needs that information for one thing for Refund requests for example.

I'm gonna build a PC for my brother and share this account with him. I don't want him to go around my account information. We live in different cities so it's not like I can control what he does, also family sharing is quite pointless because he plays games around midnight time and the majority of those times I'm already sleeping, aka, having my pc closed. Also, if we both want to play something, one of us can simply put the account on offline mode so both can play (we don't really like multiplayer games that much so it's not a big deal).

There's no point for him to create a new account if I already have the games he wants. I just want to clean up the information, I'm not eligible for any refund at this moment.

sharing accounts is forbiden, also if you are in diferent cities steam migth see the diferent logins suspicious, also the saves and stats could be messed, your option is family sharing, in that way everyone have their own saves and stats also you dont gamble your account.
