Video fmv not playing in most games on Win 10
I just got a new pc built the other day and I installed and have Windows 10 updated to 1809 the latest version with all the updates. However when I play almost any games with fmv in it, the game either is a blank screen or crashes when there are suppose to be cut scenes. The funny thing is when I click on the video files in the folders of the games they play on Windows Media player no problem. I tried klite codec pack but still no changes. My pc has a Intel i7 8700, 16 gigs of ddr4 ram, and a 980 ti with the latest Nvidia drivers.

Is it a Windows N Edition? Do other videos on your harddisk work? YouTube and other streaming media don't count.

I think it's just the regular home version. The video files on my hard disk work just fine. It's weird how it wont work in the games though.
