Game launcher windows suddenly too small
Recently there was a change somewhere in my system that for some reason made the launcher windows of some games go too small, for instance I am unable to play "A Healer Only Lives Twice" at all, since the Play button is outside the window border and the window can't be resized. The "Xenonauts" launcher window is similiarily truncated, fortunately with less consequence.

What do I need to update/repair? I have done repairs on all those Microsoft VC++ and XNA packages under Apps, to no avail. Any ideas?

Check your desktop DPI, change the scaling compatibility setting for those launchers.

Thanks, it worked! I had to select "System (enhanced)" instead of the default "Program" in the Compatibility DPI settings for each game.

Only it has to be set before every launch, as the games will override whatever DPI I save... and in the case of Xenonauts, changing to "System (enhanced)" fixes the launcher but apparently messes up the actual game screen*, which instead of showing as proper fullscreen, appears as a borderless window in the top left corner. So, not a good solution after all.

(* 4k screen, but I use only FullHD for this game since it doesn't properly support large text for large screens)

Try a couple options more. AFAIR there's 3 different ones not counting the "none". Furthermore, you can ask the developers to get their own scaling right.
