Play a game that I have in my library from another's library

Hello, Anyone know if there is a way to play a game from another persons library even if I have the game? I have the shared library from my brother and both of us have left for dead 2 and I wanted to check if I can play from his library instead of mine, thanks!.

not sure family share work like that, then both own it a and cross-share and play each other game, or let me refresh it why should it work like that.

but yeah you can play each others games, if shared problem is i think this is a loop hole and was ment to be in same house hold, but i can see this included campus , not sure if this was ment to be diffrent houses access. man this is greyzone steam issue.

and all this should have been in familyshard group. i think they know better if some have change along the way.

Reading between your lines did you want test his save?
Since you have the same game , copy out his save upload to a storage or if you have network place into public folder.. just cut and place your saves into a separate folder temporarily we dont want yours over written.. . Paste his save in there all by itself and start game.
Remember to remove his save and put yours back. You can fix things in others games doing this just give em the save back fixed.

Thank you, is more than I saw that when I share my library I can use another's person library without any issue, so if I use my brother's library to play left for dead 2, someone else can use my library to play the game with me but Idk if is possible for me to play his game even if I have it.

Thank you, the issue is not to create a lobby but to do this in any game, left 4 dead is just an example, the goal is to play a game from my brother's library while another person plays the same game from my library. Thank you so much for taking your time to help me.
