Steam Won't accept my phone number

Steam Won't accept my phone number

So I'm trying to add my phone number on my Steam account. I put the number in (legit mobile number, works on all other websites so far), the format is correct, but the "Next" button remains dark. What should I do about this?

It seems to me that the problem exists with all Australian mobile numbers that starts with 460, aka +61 460 *** ***. Got a friend whose mobile number is within this range & can't attach his number to steam either.

Typing in the entire number, + sign, country code and all?

No. It's an Australian number, starts with +61 + 9 digits.

hi, I've been having the same problem and just checking does the steam support help? and is there any way to add a phone number beginning with 0

(Country code)-(area code)-(phone number)

Example if country code is 0 area code is 333, and phone number is 444-4444 then be like 03334444444 / 0-333-444-4444 if that helps.

Now if need Steam support you contact support, visit help section > my account > data related to my account > scroll to the bottom click on contact support.
