Can't see community content

Sorry if this has already been posted, I tried browsing the forum but didn't see the topic and not of my translation is correct enough to search with. If it has been posted already, please point me to the right thread.

Anyway, a few days ago I got this new Steam client, with the new icons and looks, and while looking quite different everything seemed to work. But just recently the other day, all community content on each game page is gone, it never loads more than the placeholders for where the images should have been. And I'm not receiving any new awards in games either (well, that may be that I'm just not progressing enough of course, but it's so timed to the other issue in time).

What can I do to get content working again?

You can view by clicking on community Hub under wallpaper when game is highlighted in library
It's getting buried under our activity and the friends
scroll down. But do highlight the game first.
Have you made the thumbnail smaller?
Go to Steam top left settings Library each category is self explained.

Not sure I fully understand now, but my point was that I know where the content is, it just doesn't load as it should. Yes, I have tried both making thumbnails bigger and smaller, though I don't see how that's related?
