That's usually how it works when the game count goes down, yeah.
It updates when you add a new game so, most don't notice for weeks/months later.
And?
A ton of games just got banned today.
Various reasons. Most likely, the game dev was doing something shady and violated the contract.
Some try to be sly and hide intentions until they have dozens of crap games on Steam that sold.
It's just how Steam counts games for the profile count. The games are still in your library.
This is why different tools give you different numbers. Steam currently tells me I have 1323 games. Lorenzostanco tells me I have 1506 games. The Steam client tells me I have 1458 games.
One library, three game counts. I suppose if I use more third-party webpages I can get even more different counts.
