Can't send pictures in chat

i can not send pictures in chats. i tried all ways of "fixing" it i could find on google. NONE WORKED
i get something along the lines of "Can't send the picture: failed to send the picture"

i am very displeased with this.

try these and see if it works go in family view settings and unckeck the last box that say's : family view can do changes at my screenshots and media

the hell is family view? if it's the thing for sharing games n ♥♥♥♥ between accounts, never had it activated, never will.

yea, i saw it somewhere too a minute ago but i assumed that since i have no idea what family view is it's most likely the thing i don't use

this bug/glitch/whatever makes me salty

want to give a try to these delete all the files from steam folder located in your C drive but DO NOT ERASE "steam.exe" and the folder "steamapps" (your Games are located there) and after that restart the system and run steam it may solve your issue

yeah, i'll pass, i'd rather never send a picture than redownload all of warframe and black desert online

May need to try few times for it to go, so try clicking on try again.

If you use any 3rd party apps that interferes with other apps, such as protocols for in/out going, normally be anti virus / firewall, or etc that manage connection access.

If you use custom DNS look into changing it, or change it back to default.

If you made changes to your modem / router to block certain protocols, or haven't allow certain protocols, then maybe look into that.

Try running Steam as Admin.

I'm not having any problems uploading images to the chat to someone. But for some people in past discussions I seen people have their issues resolved by one of these things.

I'm having the same issue, and seems like most of my friends are having it too.
Never used family view, and i always run steam as admin.
Has anyone found a solution?
