How do i prevent myself showing in friendlists of people?

For some reason making ur profile friends only doesnt work anymore......

i dont want that some of my friends profiles have any visible connection to my main acc, and telling everyone to move to discord/skype would be annoying and long or telling everyone to private their fl..

Make your friends lists on your secondary profiles private.

You can't. They need to hide all of their friends or none of them. Best you can do is make your profile Friends only or private.

I did not know, there was ever a feature in the first place, that allowed you to be invisible in the lists of your friends. I'm not sure, if there should be one either.
As you said, switching to external chat platforms may be the better choice, if you feel uncomfortable about your presence in these lists. Steam likely won't give you an option again to change the appearance of others profiles in this way.

@Jerry You can't be invisible in your friends list. Best you can do is make your profile pravate to all or make it friends only. Either way you set it anyone visiting your friends profile will still see your name and can click on it. They'd just see your private profile.

Only way you don't show on a friends friend list is if they hide ALL of their friends. If your friend does this it won't matter whether you have a public, private or friends only profile as you won't even be visible.

Options are change your privacy settings to limit information randoms can see or have friends hide their friends list. Personally I think it'd be very wrong and very cheeky to ask all your friends to hide their friendslist.
