Windows 7 Drivers missing from Steam directory
After a fresh install of steam hoping it would fix the problem that occurred after yesterday's update, I have noticed that there are only 2 driver file folders. Windows 8.1 & Windows 10. Shouldn't there also be a folder for windows 7? I thought only Vista and XP were no longer going to be supported.

steam doesnt require 'drivers' its literally just chrome

steam used to provide video drivers in the client but that's no longer the case so I'm not sure what 'drivers' you're referring to

If you look in your directory (if you are running windows) you will see a file that says drivers. When you open it there are 2 sub folders. One says Windows 8.1 the other says Windows 10. Regardless of what they do or do not, I am running windows 7, and there isn't a folder for that. I have not been able to access the Steam client since the update yesterday.

Me neither. All I'm getting is "Connecting to Steam Account: ..." endlessly.

Obviously the problem is on their end. I wonder how long it will take them to fix it
