Unstable download speeds

It's really annoying, im downloading a game at about 12 mbs, its stable for 10-20 seconds and then it slowly starts going down up until 1mbs or even below that, what do I do? I never had this issue before

I don't believe this is a Steam issue. You could try to set Steam as a high-priority process in Task Manager, as it could be the HDD or SDD being slow instead of your internet (read/write speed instead of bandwidth) or, if you truly think it's a download thing and it's Valve's fault, you could change the download location in Steam settings. To do this go to the Steam tab on the upper left, click settings, go to the downloads tab, then change the download region to a closer or different (yet still somewhat close) location.

Changed my download location because there was a better option and waddayaknow it actually is now much better than before, much more stable and overall way faster than it used to be

This is a steam issue. Has to be there download servers. Every other launcher on my PC downloads games perfectly fine 50 MBPS with no drops. Only steam has this issue.
