Steam games shutting down.
Ok so this problem came up yesterday. I'm playing Skyrim or Left 4 Dead 2, or anything, the game just stops after a loading screen without any warning message. It just closes itself. I'm no geek so I don't know most of my pc's stuff inside.
Anyone else had this problem?

You'll need to provide much more information.

Please go up to the top of your steam library window, and click HELP > SYSTEM INFORMATION. Paste the ENTIRE list here.

If you're running windows 10, something probably has been updated without telling you, and is preventing your games from running properly. Also possibly, your graphics card has been turned off or disabled by an update (this is also a windows 10 thing at times) so you may have to see if the games are trying to run on your motherboard's graphics or still the card. But all will depend on seeing your system specs.

never heard of an intel core i2
7 gb ram also sounds like an odd number
The 8th RAM was not compatible with something so the PC guy took one out

ram usually comes in even numbers , like a 2 gb stick , a 4 gb stick , 8 gb , 16gb and so on , thats what makes it sound weird

makes it sound kinda fishy if the guy who sold it to you said an 8th ram was not compatible

With such an old PC i wouldn't be surprised if there were a 1GB stick in it.
He gave me that +1 ram. He knows the whole family and me too so he's cool

then surely he told you that the pc is far too weak to play games , and offered you to build you a new one right ?
It gets the job done. I can play GTA V with minimum settings. Idk why I should spend way too much money on a better pc while I can still enjoy the games.
I play Fallout 4, Skyrim, Max Payne 3 with max settings.
But right now I want to solve the original problem, which occured yesterday.
