Should I activate it?
*Enable gpu accelerated rendering in web views*

Why should I activate it? Are there any negative sides in doing it?

I suggest you leave it as it is.
I had to switch it once when I had problems with fullscreen video playback

If you have no issues, leave it enabled. If you encounter issues, disable it. Simple as that.

You don't need other opinions. Just enable it if you want and see if it runs well. If not, turn it back off.

Do you want your CPU or GPU to render web views? GPU is generally faster and uses less energy (as GPUs are specialized in rendering).

When I switched it to on it made me steam all glitchy idk if it'll happen to others but it really is just turning it on if it works or off if it doesn't work

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
