New PC build freezing whilst playing games
Hi, I built a new PC a few days ago and have been having issues with it it freezes randomly and doesn’t respond to input I have tried playing multiple games and the issue happens in all of them
My Components are
AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
MSI GeForce RTX 2070 Armor
16GB Corsair Vengance RGB
ASUS ROG STRIX B450 gaming f
Corsair TXM 750w
Kingston SA400S37/240G SSD
Seagate barracuda 2TB HDD
Any information and help would be appreciated

i will say that you RAM may be the issue try to see if that all your RAM slots are properly place into your motherbord, also check for updates 'it may help but i doubt that' if that keep happening you may want to run a software(It call Stress Test tools there are many i suggest use Aida64 ) that gives you any info of what may be happening to your computer

I ran a windows memory test and there said there was not any errors with my RAM and it’s all being recognised. Thank you for looking for the link for me!

bios may need to be updated.

but first, go into your bios and load the default settings. have ram run at 2133 and test to see if you get any freezes.

yeah thats the videocard, i rad the test and it said there was a hardware failure im not sure what the fail is though

if youare in windows 10 hit windows +X and hit computer management and go to the tab of devices and see if there is a yellow symbol

there isnt any that i can see
try to reinstall all your drivers if that dosent work try to reinstall the harware part specially the GPU usually is the RAM or GPU that give these issues when you build your pc for the first time (also installing the lates drivers such as your BIOS, drivers should help too)

thank you for all the help you have given me, i just used the stress test for just the ram and it gives a fail every time. would that be the problem?

it can be or it can be drivers issues i sugget you take 1 by 1 and test it out.
