Screenshots on a triple-monitor setup
I have a new triple-monitor setup, and I've been playing a game called Premium Bowling that supports 5760x1080 resolution, so it uses all three monitors.

I've taken some screenshots from the game, and of course they show all three screens...

But I don't always want my screenshots to show all three screens. Sometimes I'd like the screenshot to show only the middle monitor.

So I'm wondering if there's a way to either change the resolution on the fly, or to limit screenshots to a single monitor instead of all three.

Thanks!

That would be a question for the developer of the game, not Steam.
How about you post in the discussion hub of the game you are talking about?

It's not a game-specific question.

I've only been playing one game recently that supports three monitors, but I have a few others that I expect to play shortly. So it's a general question, and I'm hoping there might be a general solution within Steam as a whole, rather than separate solutions for each game. (For example: do XYZ before you hit F12 to take a Steam screenshot).

Thanks.

There is no such general solution. The screenshot feature is simply doing a screengrab for a single frame and converts that into an image. There's no option to crop the image.

I appreciate your fast responses, but I'm still interested in whether anyone else might have some thoughts.
