Low FPS when laptop is unplugged from charger.
So I just got a laptop today and I am having a few issues with it. Whenever I am playing a game without the charger plugged into it, my FPS is ridiculously low (15 and under FPS), but soon as I plug it back in, I get a smooth FPS (60+ FPS). I have looked up various threads invoving the same issue, and all of them say to change the power options. I have done that, and made sure everything was set to MAX PERFORMANCE ON BATTERY, but still nothing. I have went into NVIDIA control panel as well, and did all that was said and done on the other threads, but still nothing. I disabled the framelimit in GeForce Experience, still nothing. Help please, I would like to figure this out before I travel here shortly so I can play on the go!

Change power settings for maximum performance even when not plugged in.

Windows Key + S
Type in 'Power plan'
Click Edit power plan when it appears
Change advanced power settings

Can't remember exact options for laptop but you should find one that changes maximum processor speed when not plugged in. Make it 100%/maximum

I have tried this! I have both of them set to maximum performance, yet I get two totally different results!

Ok try same for GPU

On a Nvidia GPU

Right click desktop > Nvidia control panel > Manage 3d Settings > Power management mode
Select prefer maximum perormance > Apply

Sure same can be done for Intel or AMD just don't know steps for them

Well thats all I have to offer.

You could try asking in the hardware section. They tend to be more knowledgable than myself.

Just tell them in your opening post that you've already tried both of those.
