Damaged steam gift card
Hello guys i need help .I god 20euro steam gift card and my first part of the code ,i couldnt read it .I wrote on support but anybody not gave me reply after 1 day and 14 hours.If this read support manager this is very bad from side of steam support.
Pls support be better in this cases:steammocking:

Okj ty bro ,but if we have waiting time some many times if befor me is maybe 30000 users.But the cases is not changing if i looking yeasterday evening to a issuses and now its a same the front is not change.

They don't give you a new code. They activate the one you have.

Good luck with your gift card. My daughter bought me one that didn't work. I contacted support. First, they told me the card was defective (Missing two letters in the code.) Then they told me it had been redeemed 24 hours before I got it. They won't do anything.
They advised my daughter to contact the seller, but you know where that will go. She's out $50 and I can't use the card in the Steam sale.
I feel totally let down and ripped off and I doubt I'll buy anything from Steam in future.

As if it's our fault they scammed us.
They do not rip you off. There are only three problems that can occur, 1. incorrectly or not at all activated (retailer issue) 2. customer using a coin to scratch the foil too hard 3. printed receipt is faded. All of these issues you are encouraged to work with the retailer you purchased from. You bring your receipt and the card or receipt and they will either attempt to activate it correctly or collect the receipt and the wallet code from you and issue you a new one. If you bought it from an unauthorized retailer, there is no support for your purchase.

Don't worry I got this problem solved just a day ago. Steam support will give you the missing digits. My problem was solved in about 2 days thanks to Dave from Steam Support.

What if your daughter took the code for herself?

Oh please. My daughter didn't even scratch off the code. I did. Then it didn't work. Steam support is totally useless and has closed my help request. Do not buy Steam gift cards. The retailer will just send us back to them anyway.
Steam is claiming that some other idiot has already cashed in the card so there is no way they will help.
