How to turn off Steam Blog news notifications ?
I searched this forum & Google but no results.
I am not interested in Steam blog news and
don't want to see the megaphone icon lit up blue every few days.
This has only started happening on my Steam client window this December 2018.

How to turn these notifications off ?
I see no settings in Steam settings or chat settings to do this.

You can't. It was added with the Chat update. It doesn't notify you that often. Just a few extra because of the event going on.

Well they should add it like the other chat notification settings already available.

Think of it as an inventory notification. One you can't turn off.
