Changing Non steam game's name.
I have R6 siege on Uplay but not steam so I want to add it as a non-steam game product so that when I play the game, it will show up as me playing "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege".

However, when I add the game into my library, the launcher in the uplay folder is called Rainbow Six.exe. Once I've added the game, the launcher in my library is called Rainbow Six. I create a desktop launcher and it works fine, however....when I admend the name to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege or without the 's in my steam library....the game's shortcut on desktop wont launch and nothing happens.

How can I play the game with the name Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege (or without the 's) and allow it to launch via non-steam game product shortcut? I dont want to play the game via the launcher under Rainbow Six.

You can rename the Steam name without affecting anything. Right click > properties - the top label is the name you can freely change.

I have Battlefield4 (or Origin.exe) as "Battlefield 4 : Premium Deluxe Exclusive DLC Edition Promo #2"

The first box when you go to properties?

Yeah it says Rainbow Six at the moment. I tried changing to Tom Clancy Rainbow Six Siege and the game wont launch from the desktop shortcut n neither will it launch directly from the library itself. It opens up uplay and then the client requires me to verify the files. However, when I change it back to Rainbow Six, the game can launch fine both in the library and in the desktop shortcut.
