PS4 DS controller lightbar - how to disable?
Why doesn't Steam have the option to disable PS4 Dual Shock lightbar? DS4Windows has that option, but its far from ideal. Steam is better, but the damn bar is reflected off my monitor. Using duct tape is ghetto and I prefer PS4 to Xbox controller.

Looks like there's no way out, no escape, no way set things right! How am I meet this Xmas?

In Big Picture Mode it lets me set the colors/brightness. Just turn the brightness way down, and set the color to one that is less glaring.

I know this is an old post but here it is:

Go to Steam>Settings>Controller>General Controller Settings

Down to "Detected Controllers", click on the controller icon

There should an option called "Preferences", click on it and now you'll be able to customize:

-Rumble On or Off
-Controller Light Color
-Controller Light Brightness(I set this to 1 notch higher than the lowest)
-Controller Light Saturation(I set this to the lowest)

One other step, you need to check the button that says PlayStation Configuration Support between doing

Go to Steam>Settings>Controller>General Controller Settings
and
Down to "Detected Controllers", click on the controller icon

(at least I had to, had nothing but rumble in there before checking it)

I like this feature too, but it seems that it wont save for me. Did you have this issue as well ?

In my case, I have to click Cancel instead of Submit. Looks like a UI bug on Steam.
