So it's a minimum of 2 cents and up to 5% of the item's price.
The minimum price you can set is 3 Cent. Anything less will cause an error.
How is that stupid?
Everyone makes a profit? the devs all ready make a profit. They dont need more money from such a small transaction.
Equal and fair treatment is irrelevant. Thats got nothing to do with it.
Artists need to be paid too, you know?

the devs made the game, the picture is free. It makes no sense they need money for something like that. Its their work isn't a good enough excuse. 1 penny per card is negligible profit. Its stupid. LMAO. YOu think cards take time to produce per game? They take art being produced anyways and put in a little picture. You're naive.
Emoticons are easy to produce. Backgrounds. All of that can easily be produced and most devs all ready have people to do that kind of thing anyways.
ARtists are paid! What is wrong with you dude.
Not really the point at this point. I know why steam charges 0.02 to trade, but i dont understand why. Its stupid.
But its the way it is. Im not arguing that it isn't, only that it shouldn't be.
who is the creator? The devs? Steam? community? IF its the devs, the creators are all ready paid. Steam? They are all ready paid by working for steam.
IF someone in the community creates the card, then they get 1 penny per card traded? LMAO. So someone is getting overpaid by getting 1 penny for every single card reproduced on the stea, market. you're silly. Hed be a millionaire. The devs wouldn't allow that.
Look dude. I have no problem losing more for cosmetics because it makes sense, but not little game pictures. And for 1 penny, its absurd.
ARe you mad because i point out the stupidity?
Exactly why you shouldn't be doing it.
The devs get revenue from selling games. Not from selling trading cards. It incentivizes the wrong thing. Produce crap games, get money from trading cards. You dont seem to get it.
"Since their introduction in 2013, Steam Trading Card sets have been integrated into over 7,000 games.[1] The developer revenue gained through trading card sales has attracted undesirable attention from "asset flippers"; developers who release low-quality games onto Steam solely to profit from their trading cards. In a series of blog posts, Valve condemned this behavior, calling such games "fake games", and claimed that trading card farming was responsible for damaging the Steam storefront"
LOL fake games are pretty much all that's on steam now. Garbage, low cost, cash grabs.
Nope....didn't work. If your game is so bad that it requires me to pay .01 cents to sell a card, you got bigger problems and shouldn't be in business. LMAO.
