The steam login in my browers is just busted.
So ive been trying to log into steam on my browers (google chrome) for 2 weeks now. The captcha is just broken and will not work, and sometimes after 4 days i still get "There have been too many login failures from your network in a short time period. Please wait and try again later." And im getting more and more tilted, can someone give me some advice here?

The cool-down applies per network.

Generally speaking, you can power-cycle your router / modem to generate a new IP.

Doing this, will allow you to bypass the cool-down.

If this method doesn't generate a new IP for you, then you'd want to contact your ISP.

Also note: if re-captcha attempts always fail for you - then disable any plugins on Chrome.

Secondly, if you keep getting the 'incorrect password' prompt in Chrome and you're 100% sure that your account name and password are correct—then you'd want to clear saved passwords in Chrome.

Plugins can also result in the second issue.

Also, for some reason the captcha doesnt take any capital letters. If theres a letter, make sure you put it in common.
