Someone somehow stole my bank card information on steam
So I am at work, and decide to check my bank account. I see a -269,43€ transaction on my account. I haven't bought anything more expensive than 10€ for 2 weeks. So i knew something was wrong. I called my bank and got the card freezed. And they told me that someone on Steam Games has used my card 15 times for 100 dollars but only 3 of them went through because there wasnt enough money on my account. I have contacted steam, paypal, my bank, and police but police wont do ♥♥♥♥ because they dont have enough resources to go after ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ small things like this. What can i do ? PLZ help never been in this situation.

You file a police report, and you go through your bank to deal with recovering your stolen money.

I'm not sure how it is Europe, but in the U.S. it's usually much safer to use a credit card. The protections are much better than a debit card for cases of fraud, so that might be an option moving forward as well.

Hi guys, thanks for the advices, i got contacted by steam and they told me that their fraud detection system or something caught the transactions and declined them. I was told that a refund would appear in 30 days.
