Steam Hardware Survey Inaccurate
I don't know where to post this so I figured I'd try here since it was a Hardware survey...I got a message from Steam asking to conduct the hardware survey, I did it but Steam didn't pull the right information. It showed my video card to be an intel onboard graphics, but I have a 1080ti ftw3 that I've been using for a year now.

Not sure what else may have been inaccurate as that one stood out the most to me so when visiting the results page I can only assume what I'm looking at isn't correct.

Only reason I care enough to report it is because I like looking at the analytics of who uses what on steam, plays what, and where most spend their time on steam etc. It's cool to process, break down and filter all that data.

It likely listed both the Intel HD and the Nvidia GPU. Could you post your system specs according to Steam? -Help (Top left of the Steam client) > System Information

I don't own any desktops with both a I-GPU and GPU so I can't check how Steam reports the specs on these machines.

If it really didn't list the 1080 ti you likely have your monitor connected to the motherboard. Which I find highly unlikely, since you would have likely notices performance-wise the machine doesn't exactly perform up to 1080 ti standards.

that's interesting so I guess through Steam's filteration they would assume that if onboard and discrete are present that the user is using discrete and adjusts their data accordingly? Hmm

I'm just curious as to why it only shows "driver" as Intel when we do use Nvidia drivers. I guess its not important.
