Voice Chat not working after new router RT-AC66U_B1
I recently purchased a new router model RT-AC66U_B1 and now my steam client voice chat won't work, it hangs up while connecting. I've tried following the port forwarding guide on portforwarding.com but this doesn't seem to solve the issue. Is there a way I can share my router settings so that someone more knowledgeable than myself can review them to see if I did something incorrectly? Thanks for any and all help.

Reinstall Ethernet driver that should fix your problem.

Have you considered using the Asuswrt-Merlin firmware?

I have an ASUS router and the hardware and feature-set are great, but the company's own firmware is garbage.

The main website for the firmware is here:
https://asuswrt.lostrealm.ca
The download page for your router is here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/asuswrt-merlin/files/RT-AC66U_B1/

Asuswrt-Merlin is open source and trustworthy. ASUS have even 'borrowed' some of the Asuswrt-Merlin code from time to time (they mentioned it in their own CHANGELOG notes) because they are so bad at developing their own firmware.

Edit: Corrected spelling. I'm feeling a little sensitive about my grammar this morning. :gs_happy:

I tried installing this firmware but the device would not accept it stating that it was uncertified.
