Something mad : Nintendo Joycons Throught vJoy. Gyro Problem
Topic sounds like a ravings of a madman and I think chance that anyone had this problem is minor, but I will try :) I would like to try use JoyCons in PC gaming and I found solution to use vJoy and custom joycons driver. It's works and I can customize vJoy as Nintendo Switch Pro Controller in Steam.

I can bind buttons for this controller in general settings for all controllers and gyro is working in this binds setting (I can set for example using gyro like stick). But when I try to enable gyro in game (for example using like a mouse) - it's absolutely not working :( Also found that

So, fun question and topic, but, maybe anyone can help me? :)

Test mode is required for vJoy to function properly (at least to my knowledge).

To enable it, head into the Command Prompt (Admin) and type the following:

bcdedit /set testsigning on

Reset the computer and it should work.

Oh, you said about Windows test mode. But vJoy works fine (all axis are works, I have checked in 'windows devices'). And even steam can recognize all vJoy's axis in general binds settings, but in controller settings for game it doesn't work.

Are there any other controllers connected to it? Maybe make sure that the joycon is the only one connected.

I have tried to stay only joycons connected - nope

How to customize vJoy as Nintendo Switch Pro Controller in Steam? I had tried this JoyCon-Driver but it does not work in steam. It seems that the Gyro of JoyCon always on so that I could not bind the gamepad in steam. Is there any way to just "fake" the JoyCon as a Pro?

I've created a tool, which makes virtual pro gamepad and translate from joycons to steam throught this virtual gamepad, even with gyro support. I think, I can upload somewhere when clean up and make more usability.

Hello, I would like to know if you found a way to use the gyroscope joycons on steam? and I know it's 2 years late xD

could emulate a DS4 so that the gyro would work through steam configurator, but some driver that would make this possible isn't released yet.

in the meantime, JoyShockMapper is the best for making joycons act as mouse and keyboard with gyroscope. BetterJoy is the best for making joycons act as xbox controller via VigemBus.

I have a ps4 control but I have it very mistreated, I prefer the joycon since in one hand I can have it on the chair while with the other with the sensor without moving both hands like a normal control, and if I have tried it with JoyShockMapper and It is the closest thing to using the joycon with a gyroscope perfectly, the problem is that to activate the motion sensor is that it requires pressing a button to activate / deactivate it, since I do not want to have it active all the time, the bad thing is that it does not let you make a combination of 2 buttons so the sensor is activated and deactivated when that combination is given again, the only application that does it perfectly is reWASD, this application allows you to map and make combinations to your liking, it costs only $ 12 per the full combo so i plan to buy it

came up with a config that toggles the gyro when holding L on left joycon and pressing X on right joycon.

RESET_MAPPINGS
GYRO_SENS = 1
GYRO_OFF = NONE
L,N = ^GYRO_OFF
