Too many login attempts
I had issues logining in earlier on the browser, I tried several times and then it blocked me and said I had too many login attempts try again later - well it's been at least 5 hours since then, and I still get the message and can't login!! The desktop app is the only place I'm still logged in.

11 hours after posting I still can't login for the same reason... There have been too many login failures from your network in a short time period. Please wait and try again later. I can't login to my mobile app or the browser, only on the desktop app. Please help

You need to wait longer without trying at all I haven't personally had to deal with that timer but I have seen someone suggest 24 hours waiting for it before,

I actually just made a post about this. I'm having the same issue, and I waited over 24 hours and still got the same error message.

Okay, I've waited 39 hours since I last tried to log in and I still get the same error!

I've got the same strange issue last week, after few msg with the support (on the steam client) they managed to "unblock" my account and all is running good since that.

Log in using your mobile data, to Log in on other devices use your mobile data as a hotspot. Make sure that you make the device remember your steam log in data and you can then even use your steam with Wi-Fi because your steam is already logged in

That dont work for Desktop Steam Client login Problems ( web and Browser I can login to but not the Client that plays the games...) Napalm Steam Quarters maybe in order hahah

I got this fixed -
- Click Support at the top of the page (logged in or not)
- Help I can't Sign in
- I forgot my steam account name or password
- Type "I forgot" in the box
- Click search until you get "If you're unable to find your account, you can click here to contact Steam Support." in the box at the bottom and click that link.
- Fill in the form explaining the issue - they will reply asking for proof that you own the account, once you've proved you are the owner, you will get help with the issue.

It should be set to a time delay not a contact for unlock (unless there's a link to contact them and unlock it)
