Access to my Half Life 2 game from 2004-5
Hi, I bought my HL2 DVD around 2004-5 when it was launched. I activated it and linked to my account (I still use that email account). Now I don't find the DVD anymore and I would like to play it again. Is there a way to install it from Steam without having the DVD since I use the same account?

You should be able to download it from the account you activated it on. You don’t need the dvds

Yes, logout, go login to your main account that has the game that you said you activated on your account, go to your Library on steam, and click download.

If you didn't activated the copy on your account, I suggest go to bottom left of the screen on the steam client, click add a game, and click activate a product on steam, and enter your CD code from your HL2 DVD, as it should add the game to the account. Please note that the key is a one time use, can't redeem the game again once used on the account it is bound to the account forever, and can't be moved/transfer.

This account is only 2 years old, so this is the wrong account, you need to find the correct one.
