can i download steam games from my browser?
To make i clear i'm not asking about remote download. can i download steam games through my chrome browser, i have very slow internet on my PC in my home so, steam windows app is taking ages to download game, but my work place is having very good strength WiFi. so is their is any way i can download steam game on my office PC through browser only. (and i can transfer it through USB flash drive to my home PC).
and no i can't install steam windows app in my office PC every employ is having excess to every PC so BROWSER ONLY.

There is not. It must be done through the client.

You need to use the client.

All web browser protocols redirect you to the client itself so as to get the files from Steams' content servers.

There's no remote way as you've described.

actually you can. all you need is the games id. using the steam browser protocol type steam://install/<gameid>

You failed to understand the situation the op has. He can not install Steam on his office pc and using the install command in a browser opens the Steam client bootstrapper which is Steam. So, the answer is still a hard no.

That command still requires the client anyway. You have no idea what OP said.
