Steam problems, really need help here.
I'll try to describe every problem i'm having with steam, and I need help cause I couldn't find a fix.

Problems:
1 - Steam was stuck on "Checking for available update" screen for a long time. I closed it on task manager and it's just stuck there again;
2 - Sometimes I could get steam to load, but it didn't load properly, it didn't load any pages besides the library, and it also didn't update or install any games. The only thing I could do was talk with my friends;
3 - When I try to change anything on settings that needs a restart, steam didn't sync with cloud, forcing me to close it from task manager; when I click exit from taskbar, it gives me the option to "exit now", after 1-2 minutes;
4 - Sometimes steam asks for my password during login, when I click login it takes up to 3 minutes for steam guard to send me the code;
5 - When I try to install any game, it gets stuck on the "preparing to install" screen, and the game icon on the downloads page stays grey/blurry.

Things I tried to solve the problems:
1 - Checking/unchecking "automatically detect settings" box on proxy settings (it was unchecked before);
2 - Deleting everything on steam folder except for steam.exe, steamapps and userdata;
3 - Running on compatibilty mode/administrator;
4 - Clearing cache/cookies/downloads/download location on steam settings (but as mentioned before, these options require a steam restart, and after I click yes, it doesn't sync with cloud, so I don't know if forcing steam to close on task manager takes any effect);
5 - Reseting firewall settings/adding steam again to the permissions. One thing I noticed, before reseting settings I noticed that there were more than one "Steam and Steam Web Helper" applications on firewall, why is that? (*I don't have an antivirus);
6 - Running malwarebytes and adwcleaner. Mb didn't find anything, adw found 3 "things" and I deleted them, I restarted the computer but it didn't help;
7 - Running on safe mode with network, still the same thing! (Yes, I was surprised);
8 - Uninstalling steam with revo uninstaller, deleted everything, restarted pc and installed again. Still, nothing fixed.

Well, that's what I remember. If you read everything, thank you already. If you know anything that might help, please reply, I really have no idea what to do here. The only thing I think it might be, is something related to ip address, vpn, some sort of program blocking steam servers, I don't know. I don't know any program like that on my computer that might cause this. I appreciate any reply, thanks!

What exactly?

From my post on the steam subreddit community thread:

I am still having issues with steam not verifying my login information, not being able to update games, and the content servers being generally unreachable. I have followed most of the troubleshooting steps in this link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/wiki/contentserversunreachable and none of them have worked. I can't do a soft reinstall because after I delete all the steam files except the .exe and steamapps, and then run the .exe, I get a fatal error that says "Steam needs to be online to update. Please confirm your network connection and try again."

I tried:

Resetting router

Disabling firewall/antivirus

Clearing caches

Changing download region

Soft reinstalling steam (this won't work)

Running steam as admin

Disabling compatibilities (none to disable)

Winsock reset

Renew IP and flush DNS

Changing DNS server

Disable automatic LAN detection (it was already disabled)

Disable use proxy server for LAN (it was already disabled)

Scanned with malwarebytes

Ran ADWcleaner

Ran junkware removal

I even overwrote all of the steam files except the userdata and steamapps files with files from my brother's computer (who is not having this problem, and he is using the same ISP and internet connection).

None of these solutions worked at all.

I tried almost all solutions you mentioned, I just couldn't remember. I can't think of any other solution. Also, I have no idea what may cause this, but as I said, I guess some program/process is blocking steam on our computer to reach its servers properly. The problem is identifying which one. How long you've been having this issue? Here is more than 15 days.

I've been having it for at least a week.

every symptom in this thread points to a program interfering with Steam's required network connections or possibly a fubared Operating System.

Well in my case, the OS is just fine. Been using for a long time and never had any problem. These issues started randomly. I didn't install any program that might interfere, in fact, I uninstalled some to see if it helps, but it didn't.

I've tried everything you mentioned above and nothing works, my games updates are stuck at 0 bytes or goes to a maximum of 100bytes per second, yes bytes not even kbytes XDD while my internet is super fine beside steam downloads and epic games downloads aswell. have you solved your problem yet ? if yes please help by sharing the solution.

Hey, sorry but I don't think there's a solution for this. Reinstalling steam should fix any problem you have, and if it doesn't, then you might have network problems, which in most cases are not the problem at all. Steam only worked after I bought a new ssd for my computer (sometime around March that year, had these problems for 3-4 months). If everything you tried is mentioned in this thread and you still have problems, then i'm afraid the only solution is to do a factory reset on your computer.

I actually factory reseted and everything went fine for 2 days, but today the same issue started again, so i'd say this isnt a fix
