Logitech G920 Not Being Found By Steam Or ETS2
I'm sure this question has been raised a million times before and I'm sure I've read all of them but I still can't get the steering wheel and pedals to show up in Steam. I think I have tried everything so I'm asking before I send the thing back.

Logitech G920 purchased yesterday (refurb), Windows 10, ETS2

I have downloaded and installed all the software and firmware from Logitech (3x).
Deleted profile in ETS2
Unticked all the boxes in Big Pic
Changed USB connections
Restarted and restarted computer
Deleted ETS2 and Steam and reinstalled

Device shows up in Windows 10 Device Manager and Devices and Printers
Shows up in Logitech Gaming Software nad buttons can be configured

It does not show up in Steam - message says no device detected
It does not show up in ETS2 Wizard. It does show up on the drop down menu but freezes if I try to change any of the buttons

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You don't need Steam to find anything. Just get them working in game. Also check your system and calibrate it there before you're in game just to make sure. I also found this:

Thanks for your reply. I have tried that but it didn't work for me. I have been pinning the buttons in Logitech Gaming Software and using that in the sim but it doesn't seem to want to hold for very long. I'll keep trying. Thanks for your help

I think I have finally found a fix for it. I've deleted Logitech software and tried it with just the Windows drivers. I went into ETS2 set the buttons as I wanted them and so far so good. It's working.

Hi, I'm having the same issues here. Could you please tell me where did you get the driver?

Hi. I did a windows reinstall from Settings / Recovery with the wheel plugged in which seemed to find the appropriate drivers. I did not lose any files but I did have to reinstall some apps on my desktop. I then re-installed ETS2 on Steam. In Settings/Devices/Devices and Printers I could calibrate and check the wheel, buttons and pedals and all were working. I then went into the game and set it all up from there. I have not had any problem since. Hope that helps and any other questions just let me know

I have the identical problem, only my G920 works fine with Forza Horizon (from MS shop, not in Steam). I've set up a steam account to play Dirt Rally, and the steering wheel is not recognised. When I check the details of my steam settings, it states no controller is connected. TBH, if I have to go through a windows re-install to fix it, then I'll find a simpler way of buying and playing games....

If your wheel shows up on Windows Settings/Devices/Devices and Printers then you should be fine. You can update drivers there if needed and calibrate. Go into the game to set up the buttons. It's not going to show up on Steam so ignore that. I downloaded the Logitech software but don't use so I'm not sure if it's necessary
