Can a steam gift be revoked?

I'm gonna get a steam gift from someone I don't know in exchange for some other currency in something else I play that is not on steam.

The gift I'm gonna receive is a war thunder vehicle. The spitfire vehicle pack for 24.99Euro

This player is happy to give/buy the war thunder gift to my steam account first, since i have more credibility or is more known so to speak. - however I would want to know if steam gifts can be taken back after they've been gifted & I've sent my stuff. 

Or if this is a safe trade, as long as I don't give first?

If it can be taken back somehow, can it be taken back even if i used the gifted vehicle on war thunder?

1. Selling Steam gifts is a violation of the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
2. Yes, it can be revoked, if the buyer does a fraudulent chargeback.

There is no safe way to trade gifts. There is no allowed way to trade gifts.
I don't know how Gaijin will respond to the DLC being removed. They may simply remove the content from your account or ban it due to fraudulent activity.

the trade is 100% outside the steam trading policy, and is 100% not safe. Do at your own risk, steam will not assist either party should someone decide to scam the other.

Okay thanks a lot, I did not know that. Probably won't happen then, definitively not from someone who tries to push it on me like he did...Just got me suspicious so I wanted to check up on things.
