Right, so I found some threads and I'm worried about future of me accessing some games

so there have been floating around both on /r/Steam and some discussion forums, but mostly on the sub about how hentai and other +18 games are not banned on Turkey, demanding they should be banned because how Erdoğan controls everything and anything (As a Turkish citizen, I can confirm this is not the case) and will ban any site with porn. The problem is that it got 500 upvotes in 4 (This one https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/9g0w0j/i_hate_to_ask_this_but_valve_should_consider/ )hours and Steam might actually do something like that. The problem is that I'm planning to buy some uncensored games and would hate for me to be restricted from a full genre of games because someone thinks that their government is actually some neo-nazi super villain. He claims things like ''PasteBin ban had no reason'' well, a person named Berat Albayrak, a member of a terrorist group who was associated with a coup attempt, had copied government-related files into said website, I literally googled ''PasteBin neden yasaklandı?'' which stands for ''Why was PasteBin banned?''.

Will it ever realistically happen? I'm hoping not because most of the reasons can be nullified if you literally google it.

If your government decides to ban them, there is nothing you can do short of moving out of your country.

Valve will always have to comply to government regulations.

No, not a government ban because it's not gonna happen on the government's side, I'm afraid that this guy might rack up supporters and force Valve to do something without the government ever being present.

so as far as I'm understanding, unless a government says to Steam ''Our people can't play this because it's illegal'' no matter how many people boycott, it will be for sale, right?

Most games are being patched right now to be fully uncensored.
