Refund Denied - Anything More I Can Do?
I bought a game, but online play is full of cheaters. (It's really bad.) I have no intention of playing the game again. I've uninstalled, but I'm being denied a refund.

Is there anything else I can do? Developers are locking threads concerning issues I care about. So I can't even bring up problems to them. (Despite their claims about being open to suggestions.)

The game is terrible (SCUM), and I could really use the money a lot more than a cheat-ridden game.

I'm within the 2 weeks. Regardless, the information on refunds indicates there are exceptions.

I have never refunded anything (through Steam) before. I'm hoping for a bit of leeway.

It's both, not one or the other.

2 weeks owned and less then 2 hours played. if you go over either, you are outside the refund policy. cheaters in a game is not ground for a refund unless you can get the game developer to allow it.

How would I go about getting the developer to allow the refund?

Talk to the developer and ask him if he'll allow the refund.

As stated before, it's 2 hours AND 2 weeks. If outside those requirements, it's reviewed and if Steam Support deems it acceptable (or the developer allows it) they'll refund it. In most cases, it's a no, though.

I've put in the request twice. Both times I was denied in seconds. I don't believe it was manually reviewed. Seems to be fully-automated.

Don't get your hopes up.

Why does no one read this?

Even if it was (it isn't), it's not like you are eligible for one.

You have 41.7 hours on record..

Steam must be very efficient. As I was denied literally seconds after making the request. Impressive their employees work so fast!

Both times.
