Game Price Change
Hope this is a 'help' site. I just tried to purchase "No Man's Sky". Cost was listed as $29.99. On checkout the charge was $59.99. I think I got it cancelled through my Paypal account, but have not been able to find any site on Steam or Valve to report this.

" I think I got it cancelled through my Paypal account"

Did you file a dispute with Paypal?

How could it not be accepted. I booted up and the Steam offer came up, priced at $29.99. I clicked 'add to cart' and hit Paypal pay and the final price of $59.99 came up. I guess that somewhere in the 15 seconds between the initial offer and the 'buy' order the offer was withdrawn. But the offer I clicked was $29.99.... Ok, I missed some deadline that didn't show up when I started the order.

But, when I tried to contact Steam to report this, I couldn't find any, any, none, no site that would permit sending them such information, or to ask for help.

The sale ended between you adding the game and then going to your cart. It has been on sale since July 24th so waiting until the final 10 seconds isn't the smartest thing to do.

The offer ended, the checkout page tells you "some items have changed price since being added" - they know it has changed and they know that as the offer has ended, the price has also changed.

You could theoretically add lots of items to your cart while on sale and sit with them in there for hours and days if the price didn't change before the final checkout.

I say good find! It's fine that they change the price mid-buy, but the buyer should have to go through a pop-up (actively blocking checkout making sure the information gets through) that the price changed due to sale ended.
Maybe not a bug but it's bad practice not to highlight such a crucial change during a transaction.

It already warns you during checkout. Read the post above yours.

As mentioned above; this has already been in place for years. The warning is also in bright orange letters.
