Steam stuck in offline mode...

Hello, a few days ago my Steam got stuck in offline mode. This happened after I casually launched PC in the morning and then launched Steam to play, on the previous day everything worked absolutely fine. I tried a lot of possible options how to fix this, restarted Steam a few times, changed Online/Offline in the settings, fully reinstalled Steam, but nothing worked. I still can play all games thru the Steam, but everyone sees me offline all the time, so I can't chat or invite anyone to play, it's kinda frustrating. If anyone knows any other fix for this problem, it would be really helpful.

I dont know but maybe u can disconnect from the internet and then connect again?

What exactly is in offline mode in here, your Steam client or your chat status? Are you able to for example load the forum or the store page?

My internet connection is good too, I already contacted Steam support about it, but they didn't give me anything new that I haven't tried yet.

Jerry: I can't load store or forums too, it's the same like you gonna set your Steam in offline mode, so you can't see anyone and nobody can see you either. Right now I'm using my Steam account in browser.

I also have this problem,but I can still download workshop items and still receive notifications about all sorts of stuff

Me too, at least I can update my games and stuff... I guess it's some type of Steam bug that some people have for some reason. Possibly only new Steam update can fix it, so let's just wait.

UPDATE: After all this time my Steam is still stuck in offline mode. I tried to reinstall Steam a few times in hope that it's finally gonna fix the problem, but nothing happened.

UPDATE: Wow! My Steam finally went online! I just tried to apply "Steam beta update" and after restart it went online, even tho before I tried to do the same thing but it didn't worked, so I guess I got lucky. Before applying this update I cleared all possible cache on Steam, so maybe that's why it worked this time. But anyways I'm happy. Yay!

So i have a similar problem, But i'm stuck in disconnected mode and i can't msg anyone, Nor can i see the msg's from my friends, And it is getting a bit frusterating, So any help would be great.

Hey I got a solution that I had found well researching this problem... Using the new UI makes this glitch appear and I found the way to remove it.

can you elaborate on this, i'm still a little confused on how you fixed this.

I have the same problem, tride the solution above but did not help!
