After registering the discussion of interest,
I want to delete unnecessary ones of comments received.

You can delete your own comments by mousing over them and clicking the trashcan icon that appears. You don't get to delete other people's comments though if that's what you're asking about - only a Mod can do that.

The only comments you have the power to delete are ones you submit, and ones people put on your profile.

When you capture remarks,
When registering as "attention thread"
Within that thread, there is a function that the latest posted article is displayed in the list.
From that list, I want to avoid displaying articles that are not interesting.
As you pointed out, only the owner can delete the article itself.
However, since the list itself is like a shortcut to an article,
User should be able to manage.
If there is no way to do so, I will post back to "Suggestions / Ideas".

As far as I understand you, you want a Steam filter software, that controls if comments in threads, you have notifications for, give you a notification, depending on an algorithm, that decides if you will be interested in said comment.

There is no way to make this work in a satisfying way.
Valve should not even attempt to install such a mechanism.
No need to make a suggestion about it.

You can only delete your own comments and will never be able to delete anyone else.

You can delete your thread if it has less than 8 post.

Users will not be given the ability to delete other peoples post in a thread they started.

mousing over them and clicking the trashcan icon, doesn't work. :steamsad: Ok I can edit stuff here but not in a game Community Hub posted picture window that I made a comment on. what's up with that? Delete quote edit buttons work on this comment but in a posted picture window all I get is a nonfunctional delete button, what's going on?
